GTC – GT3isti Challenge 2025

The GT3isti Challenge is a championship open to Porsches, both road and racing, organised in six stages touching all the major Italian circuits.

The races are regularly authorised by ACI Sport and do not involve grid starts, but take place in ‘time attack’ mode, i.e. the drivers compete for the best lap time.

The championship is aimed at ‘gentlemen drivers’ who are passionate about the world of Porsche and who want to test themselves in a competitive but relaxed environment where lasting friendships are formed around the sporting activity.

Competing safely while having fun among friends is the hallmark of this successful format now in its fourth year.

Participation

The cars are divided into classes depending on model and year and equipped with transponders to record times.

Each stage comprises four 25-minute shifts during which the participants start from the pit lane in an orderly manner according to the times set in previous practice sessions:

– Free laps (with the possibility of coach on board)

– Race 1

– Race 2

– Race 3

At the end of the day, the best times of each race are added together, discarding the worst of the three, and the classification of each class is drawn up. The prize-giving ceremony takes place on the official circuit podium.

Based on the classification of each stage, points are awarded for the championship classification.

Admitted cars

It is possible to participate with well-maintained Porsche road and racing cars of any model or year.

The GTC features different classes based on the type of Porsche used, ensuring fair competition among similar vehicles. While the racing spirit is alive, the atmosphere remains friendly and relaxed, catering specifically to gentleman drivers who own their cars and wish to experience a thrilling yet enjoyable motorsport event.

I have never driven on a circuit but would like to participate in a competitive event. How can I do this?

Super Lap Driving Academy with a short coaching course, before and during the race accompanies all those who want to take up this sport with an amateur spirit, preparing them to compete with the right preparation. I have a Porsche but I don’t want to use it on the circuit, is there a possibility to rent it?

Yes, Super Lap Driving Academy has a stable of road-going Porsches that it makes available for track days and races.

I have a Porsche but I am not sure if it is technically suitable for track use. How can I verify this?

Super Lap Driving Academy also has a team of experienced technicians who can assess and prepare the car for safe and high-performance track use. During the race, technicians are present in the pit to constantly monitor the car’s performance and intervene if necessary.

How can I transport the car to the race track?

The Super Lap team is equipped to transport cars to all championship events.
